Towing in Steele, IL

Towing for Steele

For a tow in Steele, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. The job: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Tell us where the car is, where it should go, and whether the keys are with it.

Our part and the shop's part

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
