Towing in Summit, WI

Arranging the work in Summit

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Summit is about 747 km away. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How the request works

A person replies within one business day. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Getting a clear quote

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Small things that help

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
