Towing in Unity

Towing in Unity: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

Our part and the shop's part

A person replies within one business day. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.

Talking to the shop

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.

Good habits for your car

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.

Where CarmaCars works
