Towing in Utterson

Getting it done

Towing in Utterson: we do not do the work ourselves; we arrange it with a shop we trust. In short: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

The steps

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

No car? Rent one meanwhile

If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. Ask for a rental in the same request as the repair. If you come to us, the pickup is free.

Between shop visits

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

What to ask

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Utterson at a glance

The pages for Port Sydney, Parkersville and Allensville cover the areas next door.

Muskoka Airport (YQA) is the closest airport, about 27 km from Utterson. From late fall, winter tires are worth asking for; they are an add-on on the cars that have them.
