Towing in Walker, SC

Getting it done

Towing in Walker: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What this is: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. If the car is blocking traffic, stay safe first and call for help.

The steps

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Small things that help

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Honest about Walker
