Towing in Weedpatch, CA

Towing: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Weedpatch. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

How we help

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Talking to the shop

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
