Towing in Wheeling, MO

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Wheeling. What it involves: A tow to a shop or to your home, by a towing company we arrange, not by CarmaCars. If you are in danger or blocking traffic, call 911 first. Once you are safe, send a request with where the car is and where it should go.

The steps

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Small things that help

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

What to ask

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.

CarmaCars and Wheeling
