Wheel Alignment in Ancient Tree, IL

Getting it done

We arrange a wheel alignment through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Ancient Tree. What it involves: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

The steps

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
