How the request works

A person replies within one business day. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Between shop visits

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

Before the shop starts

Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
