Wheel Alignment in Covington, IL

Arranging the work in Covington

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Covington is about 975 km away. What this is: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

How the arrangement works

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Good habits for your car

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.

Honest about distance

We do not have a location in Covington; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 975 km, Covington is outside that.

We know shops around Toronto best; for Covington, we say plainly what we can do. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

Your move

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
