Wheel Alignment in Darfield
Wheel Alignment in Darfield: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Who does what
You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.
Good habits for your car
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
What to ask
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
