Wheel Alignment in Dover Downs, Baltimore

Wheel Alignment in Dover Downs

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Dover Downs is about 522 km away. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.

The steps

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Good habits for your car

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
