What CarmaCars does here

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.

A note on distance
