Wheel Alignment in Howes, NY

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Howes is about 354 km away. Plainly: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.

Car care, briefly

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.

Where we work

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Howes. Measured in a straight line, Howes is about 354 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

For work in Howes, ask in a request and we tell you honestly whether we know a shop there. If we do not know a shop in Howes, we say so rather than guess. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Howes if you like. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.

One more step

Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
