Wheel Alignment: how we help
We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Jay County. Plainly: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
The steps
Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person replies within one business day. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. When the shop is done, we collect the rental from you. Collecting it from us in Toronto is free.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Ask us
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
