Arranging the work in Saint Clair County
We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Saint Clair County. What this is: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
How the arrangement works
You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Rent the size of car you need for the days the repair takes. We deliver the rental, or you collect it from us for free. If you come to us, the pickup is free.
Car care, briefly
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
One more step
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
