Arranging the work in Sanborn County
We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Sanborn County. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
What CarmaCars does here
You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.
A car while yours is in the shop
A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. Keep commuting, shopping and visiting while your car is at the shop. If you prefer, pick the car up at our location for free.
A short checklist
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Car care, briefly
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Over to you
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
