Wheel Alignment in Skypark, Camp Evers

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Skypark is about 3,655 km away. Plainly: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

Who does what

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Talking to the shop

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
