Wheel Alignment in Smithfield, NY

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Smithfield is about 507 km away. What it involves: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

How the arrangement works

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person replies within one business day. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Car care, briefly

Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
