What to send us

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
