Wheel Alignment in Thompson, CT

Wheel Alignment in Thompson

For a wheel alignment in Thompson, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. What this is: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.

The steps

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job.

Between shop visits

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

What to ask

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
