Getting it done
CarmaCars arranges a wheel alignment with trusted shops in the Toronto area, and does not do the work itself. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
From request to repair
The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Rent the size of car you need for the days the repair takes. If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. Self pickup at our Toronto location has no fee.
Small things that help
Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
What to ask
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Still deciding?
Start with the car, the job and your location.
