Arranging the work in Unity
Wheel Alignment in Unity: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What this is: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
What we arrange
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.
Driving while yours is at the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The rental is priced like any other: by the day, the week or the month. Picking the car up yourself at our location costs nothing.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Ask us
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
