Wheel Alignment in Washington
We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Washington. The job: Wheels aligned so the car drives straight and the tires wear evenly, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
What we arrange
A person replies within one business day. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.
Driving while yours is at the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Keep the rental as long as the shop needs your car. Prefer to collect it? Pickup at our Toronto location is free.
Between shop visits
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
