What CarmaCars does here

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Small things that help

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
