How the request works

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Car care, briefly

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Before the shop starts

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
