Buying a car in Alcester

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
