Buying a car in Angleton

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Why rent first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

A buyer's checklist

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Reach and distance

Our only location is in Toronto; Angleton is outside the area we serve. The distance is about 2,150 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 80 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. For buying in Angleton, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Questions about Angleton? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
