Shopping for a car in Appleton

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

A buyer's checklist

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Our area, and Appleton

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Appleton; we work from Toronto. Appleton lies about 803 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Appleton? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Need something in Appleton? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

One more step
