Auto Loans for Ashcake

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

A note on distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Ashcake. With Ashcake about 692 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Ashcake? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Ask us about Ashcake in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
