Auto Loans in Ashcroft

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

What to check before you buy

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

A car meanwhile

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip.

Honest about distance

Our only location is in Toronto; Ashcroft is outside the area we serve. About 3,219 km separate our location in Toronto and Ashcroft, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Shopping in Ashcroft? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Need something in Ashcroft? Send a request and a person replies with an honest answer. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
