Buying a car in Backus

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Before you sign

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

What CarmaCars covers

Plainly: we do not have a location in Backus. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Backus lies about 1,234 km from central Toronto, well beyond our 80 km delivery area.

Shopping in Backus? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For buying in Backus, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
