Shopping for a car in Barham

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

While you shop

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Distance, honestly

Our only location is in Toronto; Barham is outside the area we serve. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 758 km, Barham is outside that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Barham? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you still want to ask about Barham, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
