Shopping for a car in Barr

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Questions to ask

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Bridging the gap

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Honest about Barr

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Barr. About 1,022 km in a straight line separate Barr from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Ask us about Barr in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
