Buying a car in Batchellerville

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

What to check before you buy

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
