Shopping for a car in Baxter

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

Questions to ask

Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
