Shopping for a car in Beans

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

While you shop

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Our reach

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Beans is outside our area. At roughly 896 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Beans is outside our delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For anything about Beans, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
