Buying a car in Beloit

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Try it for a week first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
