Buying a car in Biesecker Gap

Here is the honest answer for buyers: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Bridging the gap

There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Honest about distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Biesecker Gap. We do not deliver as far as Biesecker Gap, about 464 km from our location in Toronto.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Biesecker Gap if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
