Buying a car in Boulder Junction

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.
