Shopping for a car in Bowes

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Questions to ask

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Where we deliver

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Bowes. The straight-line distance from our location in Toronto to Bowes is about 768 km, and we deliver within about 250 km.
