Shopping for a car in Boyd

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Before your next car arrives

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Where we work

CarmaCars has no branch in Boyd. We rent from one location in Toronto. Boyd lies about 688 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Boyd if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
