Shopping for a car in Boyne

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing.

Distance, honestly

Boyne is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Our delivery area ends about 250 km from Toronto, and Boyne is about 484 km out.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Boyne, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Ready when you are
