Shopping for a car in Branscomb

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

A buyer's checklist

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

A car meanwhile

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

Our reach
