Shopping for a car in Brookvale

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

Before you sign

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

Before your next car arrives

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
