Buying a car in Bruce

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Checks worth doing

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

A car meanwhile

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Our area and Bruce

For buying in Bruce, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Still have a question about Bruce? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
