Buying a car in Caleb

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

A buyer's checklist

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Before you plan

Caleb is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. Measured in a straight line, Caleb is about 1,182 km from our location in Toronto; we deliver within about 250 km.

Shopping in Caleb? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For buying in Caleb, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. A request about Caleb gets an honest answer from a person. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
