Auto Loans: what CarmaCars does

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Checks worth doing

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Before you plan around us

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Capel; we work from Toronto. The distance is about 1,486 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

For buying in Capel, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you still want to ask about Capel, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
