Shopping for a car in Cascade

Shopping for a car in Cascade? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Questions to ask

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

A Toronto company

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Cascade is outside our area. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Cascade is roughly 962 km away.
