Shopping for a car in Cascade

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Try it for a week first

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

Buying smart in Ontario

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.
